Background Information

Indiana Sports Charities (ISC) was founded in 1989 by Ron Kittle, 1983 American League Baseball Rookie of the Year for the Chicago White Sox. Ron and his volunteer staff are dedicated to assisting cancer research facilities and educational institutions throughout Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana. ISC is an entirely volunteer-based effort; every net dollar they receive from contributions goes directly to the quest to find a cure for cancer.

The Challenge

One of ISC's primary methods of fundraising is their annual celebrity golf outing at Briar Ridge Country Club. Participants in the golf tournament donate to ISC and play a round of golf with various sports celebrities. ISC strives to increase the number of participants every year.

Artisan3's Solution

Artisan3 and ISC decided that the charity needed promotional images to help raise interest in the golf outing. Artisan3 used our video, photography, and graphic design expertise to create a three-phased marketing push. Artisan3 sent videographers and photographers to the golf tournament to capture the dayÕs most exciting moments.

Final Product

Artisan3 created a four-minute promotional video using footage from the golf outing and an on-camera testimonial from Ron. ISC now uses the photography from the event to promote the charity in various publications and on the Internet. Artisan3 also created a unique design utilizing ISC's logo and a golf ball to be used for direct print advertisements.
